Heavy rainfall continues to lash Gujarat, 10 NDRF rescue teams pre-positioned

Ten National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) rescue teams were pre-positioned in several flood-prone areas in the state. So far, the Gujarat relief department has confirmed 61 rain-related deaths in the state. Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani conducted an aerial survey of flood-affected areas in Chotila and Maliya on Sunday.  Rupani held a assembly with officials and asked the management to help people while heavy rains are probable until July 29. "NDRF, IAF and state rescue teams have rescued up to 214 people, stuck in different places," said Rupani. Latest Delhi news Arvind Kejriwal, the Chief minister of New Delhi   will distribute the subsidy money to the owners of registered e-rickshaws on July 15, said a superior government. The subsidy, which runs into  Rs.  15,000 and  Rs.  30,000, is projected to encourage and promote the eco-friendly three-wheelers used by commuters for short distances. On Saturday, the CM will distribute the subsidy cheques to the e-rickshaws holders that are registered at Indira Gandhi stadium, said the official. In total, around 6,000 applicants will get the monetary aid at the happening, according to the government official, who did not wish to be named.
