Ripped over scoring low grades in exam, SRCC student slaps teacher

Reacting to low grades awarded to him, a student from the Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) relaxed and physically attacked his teacher Friday night sending a wave of shock across the college faculty.

Assistant professor, Ashwani Kumar of SRCC's global business operations at Delhi University, was attacked by his student management discipline, which allowed him to kick the professor's car and beat him repeatedly to be awarded low grades in his internal investigation. The teacher has left the city and gone to Haryana after the incident. "The student - who struggled with Ashwani and hit him - keeps record of irregularities among academics."

The incident took place in the parking lot and in the presence of the primary RP Rustagi, "says Professor Alok Kumar, who calls it a violent crime. ERRORS OF PROFESSORS NOT NEW FOR SRCC "How will we obtain discipline at college premises whose teachers are attacked for nothing but do their duty?" Wondered Alok, who is an assistant in the trade department.

SRCC official leader and teacher Ashwani Kumar did not respond to Mail Today's calls. However, the professor had filed a FIR against the student at Maurice Nagar Police Station immediately after the incident, Friday evening. According to police officials, an FIR under sections 341 and 506 has been filed against the students for illegal detention and criminal intimidation of the teacher. "We have registered a FIR on Friday against a student from the SRCC management program based on appeals from the teacher who was accompanied by the principal.

The reports of striking are fake, FIR submitted by the teacher does not mention it" Said Jatin Narwal, SHO at the University Maurice Nagar Police Station. India's famous destination for trade program, SRCC, had reported a similar violence against a college faculty member last year. Vineet Kumar, another teacher from college, was attacked last year over the use of a swimming pool facility. According to the college administration, the plant is not extended to personal use as required by the student and is against rules and regulations.
